French Asylum United Methodist Church is a small country church and an icon in the French Asylum valley. Its members are like an extended family and are exceptionally welcoming. Worship services begin every Sunday morning at 9:45 am and are often attended by many persons from the valley and surrounding hills. Services are typical traditional United Methodist services with the full liturgy including sermon, hymns, psalms, creed, and Lord's Prayer (words and music are provided in the pews). Communion is offered on the 1st Sundays of each month and on holidays by intinction (dipping a piece of bread in the cup) and is open to anyone who wishes to participate.
